Is the sol actually clicking or do you just hear a clicking sound when you turn key sitting on tractor? On your model tractor there is a control relay mounted behind dash or plugged into wiring harness, this relay is usually connected to safety sw's & control starter sol, contacts in same may be bad,the clicking sound you hear may be this relay and not the starter sol,if you have owners manual they might have a wiring diag in same, from this you may be able to locate relay & install a jumper in place of same to see if starter sol activates & cranks eng, also there is what they call a protection loop, this plugs into wiring harness,I believe it is a fused link, but I'm not sure if it's for control wiring or elect clutch,if you find this you might want to unplug & check with an ohmmeter or powered test lite.
