It's too late to know what the previous owner did or blems he had. Problem is mine now. All I know is that after awhile it starts smoking the sooty smoke and low power. The oil level is good and the plugs were changed twice because of fouling.(from previous owner, after he bought it and before he sold it to me) The oil level did drop after the first two hours of use.
The only tell tale sign of a problem before I bought it was the wet chassis below the cylinder.
