Well, if I had to choose between the two I'd take Craftsman as the better machine. The thing is, you'd be better to buy a machine from an independent dealer. Husqvarna tractors are the same as Craftsman and so are Poulan Pro. Husky's are more expensive. I would not buy a Cub Cadet in any situation. Cub is built by MTD, so is Troybilt, Toro, White, Yard Machines, Yard Man. By the way, new MTD's are junk. So are the new John Deeres. I'd stick with AYP (husky, craftsman, poulan pro) or spend more money and get Simplicity, Massey Ferguson, or Snapper which are all built by Simplicity.
