Mower deck parts can be purchased separately from Deere. standing at the back of the mower deck,put the belt on the outside of the 3 blade spindle pulleys in a triangular shape, then look at the spring mounted idler.... take the belt from one of the top sides of the triangle towards the idler that will stretch the idler spring and pull it over the idler. Only one of the top sides will stretch the spring (by memory I think it's the left side), if you take it from the wrong side, you would be trying to compress the spring, Belt should be on. Double check by rotating the blades by hand, they should ALL spin in the same direction and that should be clockwise.
