Get out your phone book and start calling ALL the local dealers in your area to see if they have one "out back". Last I checked my Deere guy, he had a 216 tractor with a Kohler K-341 in it not running but with good compression for $300 for the whole tractor. That motor was used by Deere, Cub Cadet, Massey Ferguson, Ariens, Gravely, Snapper, Case, and maybe Simplicity. Just have to check that the output drive shaft is gonna match up in Dia. and length with what you need.
