hello all.i have a 2001 craftsman lt1000,i believe,with the 16 hp kohler command engine.for the past couple of seasons it has been kinda stubborn to start up,i have to keep on the starter for like 20-30 seconds and it finally starts up blowing a little smoke until off of choke.it will run fine after the initial start up even if i have to turn it off for something it will fire right up.it is just when it sits for a couple of weeeks to a month.it used to fire up much faster even if it had been sitting for a while.i use stabil in my gas when left to sit over the winter or for extended periods.
