Problem #1: Take it to the shop and save yourself time and grief.
Problem #2: You are overfilling with oil. either you aren't measuring the correct capacity to add a measured amount, aren't reading the dipstick properly or have the wrong dipstick.
Problem 1 could be helped or fixed by running the correct amount and type oil.
If the advice doesn't eliminate any of the symptoms, then you need an overhaul anyway. You may have damaged it from improper maintenance.
