I bought this Ariens 1540 lawnmower and it had a 15.5 hp Briggs and Stratton engine which looks fairly new at a farm action a couple of weeks ago and it started fine and ran fine. I got it home and noticed that it was leaking oil from the oil fill tube out of the top, and from the fuel pump which is operated by a vacum from the oil fill tube. I changed the fuel pump, head gasket, cleaned out the breather on top of the engine. After all of this it is still leaking oil from the fuel pump and oil fill cap, also when i try to mow with it, it seems to over heat and shut off. I am totally stumped about why this is happening and would greatly appreciate some advice as to what this could be.
