is there a solenoid on carburator bowel? if solenoid is bad or, not getting 12 volts when key is turned on, fuel cannot flow thru the main jet and into carburator. it is referred to as the anti backfire solenoid. without it, the would violently backfire after engine is shut off. its mounted on carb bowel..its round in shape and has 2 wires coming from it.
