Thank you for your reply. Even if the clutch still engages and dis-engages the mower you beleive it to be defective? Like I said it worked smoothly 8 or 9 times until the switch burned out. Could it be a bear wire or something along that line? Thanks for your reply I will try to by pass the switch to make the clutch operate. As part of my trouble shooting.
