You can basiclly just un-screw it from the carb bowl,and dry any fuel that has spilled,just to prevent any fire hazzard,and with it connected too the wire,turn your ignition switch to the first setting and see if the fuel shut-off pin operates.If it dont operate,I have rather than buy a new one,just cut the pin off.
