I am looking for an inexpensive JD riding lawn mower. I checked out a JD 116 through our local classified ad. It appears to be in good condition. No obvious damage or abuse. It also seems to run well. It comes with a bagger and snow blade. The asking price is $1,200. This is my first lawn tractor purchase (actually, first purchase of any kind of tractor). I am originally from JD country - Rock Island IL, - next door neighbor to Moline IL. So I would like to stick with JD if possible. $1,200. is on the high end of what I can afford for a riding mower. With that said, I don't want to be taken. Looking for the best bang for my buck.
