Hope someone can help...I have replaced the charged the battery, replaced the ignition switch, replaced the starter/solenoid and it still won't even turn over. Today I used my battery charger to test the starter while it was mounted in the tractor, neg to frame and positive to terminal on the bottom of the solenoid and it spins (whirs) and only once did it actually engage the motor. Couldn't get it to repeat the motor engagement again but confirmed the starter still works. Motor is free and turns, ran all last season just fine (but did have some intermittent starting issues).
