In Reply to: John Deere X340 or Z445 zero turn ? help posted by Kyle Tyler on Tuesday, March 11, 2008:
There would be no additional work as far as snow plow/blowing ( I live in Alabama unfortunately) and she has operated a zero turn for about 4 15 yard long passes but without obstructions or any border/fences of any type so that may be a problem . The on and off would not be a problem. She is an extremely healthy and active 65. I beleive all of that would be ok. Just the question of if the deck on the 445 zero turn would last as long or close to the tractor. They are both impressive machines and ,of course, the zero turn is a blast and looks more like $4700.
