3 year old 25 h.p Kohler auto transmission will engage into reverse for a few feet, then gears grind and won't move. Shifting into forward then back into reverse will gain a few feet and gears grind again..Cold weather makes problem worse. Pulling hard on shift lever helps sometimes to gain a little motion. Linkage problem or internal? thanks--I need to plow badly!
