I recently acquired a John Deere riding mower, model LX279. The hood comes in three sections, top and lower left side and lower rt. side. I believe the part no.'s are AM132595 and AM132529. The original hood and sides were in about 4X5 in. pieces held together by duct tape. This was a bad molding job by J.D. or bad raw material to start with. Does anyone know where I can obtain any new or used parts at a reasonable price? I'm told that J.D.models LX255,266,277,279,GT225,235,335,345 are interchangeabe.
