just a follow-up to close this thread.

Couldn't find a u-joint small enough to fit existing yokes.

Turns out that Weasler makes alot of after market parts. Ordered two new yokes, one had the 1" 15 spline quick coupling, other had 3/4" X 7/8" slide tube, and a new u-joint (series 6 in catalog). Total cost a little over $100, but now I have a set-up where I can change u-joint if I ever have to again.

When I hooked it all up, she made it 5' and broke chain on blower. Hadn't been used in 4-5 years.....so it was seized up pretty good. Bought a new chain next morning.....now runs perfect. I'm amazed at how much better it is than a walk behind.

As I've done other repairs, later this winter after wallet recovers from Santa, I'll convert the other yokes and joint on the blower end, so that I know what I have.

If anyone has an relatively inexpensive idea on how to rig an adjustable chute defector (electric or cable)to it, I'd love to see/hear about it.
