I have an 18hp Sears garden tractor with a 45" Snow Thrower attachment. I followed the instructions right up to the part where I need to wrap the v-belt from the snow thrower onto the carriage bracket assembly (power from the motor pulley goes to the carriage assembly and then to the snowthrower). The last instruction is to remove the Special Clevis Pin behind the the pulley on the carriage bracket assembly. I do not see the Special Clevis Pin. I don't even see a hole for the pin.

My second and more inportant problem is that the v-belt from the snowthrower appears to be too short and can not go around the pulley on the carriage assembly. I can not see how to get the belt on the pulley. I would expect the pulley to swivel to let the belt around it and then swivel back to it's operating position.

Any advice would be appreciated .

Thanks in advance.
