PROBLEM - JD 345 stalling

1999 JD 345 (20 HP liquid cooled) occasionally stalls with PTO engaged - will restart, without missing, and then stalls again. Occasionally, while running at full throttle, will start to die as if the key were turned off - then just before stalling will resume back to full throttle; all without missing. Dealer has tried to repair on 3 occasions, but has not fixed the problem.
