I have a Sears tractor P/N 917.254830. I need the PTO for the snowblower attachment P/N 842.26519. The parts list suggests two PTO units a #26299, and a #26309, along with a 6425J union adapter. I don't know which PTO I need, and all three parts are discontinued. They were apparently made by Haban Inc. and since then the company has dissolved. Does anyone have any information that I can use to determine which PTO I need, and if I need the adapter, and more importantly, if one can be had out there somewhere. If I had a picture of it, and possibly some specs, I could make a new one, but I hate to make something that I may be able to find out there somewhere...
Anyone have suggestions?
