I was comparing the Craftsman 6500 series with the JD LA150. They seem similar in every way. In fact, the Craftsman almost looks identical to the Deere, except for the color and hood design. I know that JD make JD, but who makes Craftsman these days? I think it use to be American Yard Products, but I'm not sure about now. Anyway, I have about 2 acres of flat grass to mow, and was wondering if anyone had any opinions or experience with either of these tractors. The Craftsman tractors seem a bit cheaper for the same features, but I'm concerned about parts availability. On the other hand, I live about a mile from a JD dealer, and maybe the convenience is worth the extra price. Any ideas will be helpful. Thanks.
