I am having a problem with my 1985 160 tractor. When I am running it at full power and cutting the grass, after about 1/2 hr it starts to stall out. At first it will run if I turn off the pto, but eventually it just stalls. I had a short block installed last year. Just recently they put in a new air filter and gas filter to try and fix the stalling problem but it did not seem to help. I looked at the new gas filter while it was running and the gas does not seem to flow constantly but rather goes in spurts. Not sure if this is normal as I have not looked at it before.
