Ground Primary and Secondary winding of magneto to engine block. Sparkplug wire completes the circuit for the Secondary winding, The Breaker Point condensor completes the circuit for the Primary Winding. Tie on a wire to the condensor and run it to your Grounding source whether its to be a toggle or key switch for ignition shorting purposes. As for your electric start circuit, Starter is self grounding. Hot to starter will come from one side of the starter solenoid on the tractor. Your charging circuit should be grounded to engine on one end and on the other look for the diode in the pigtail, this will be DC output and needs to tie into the battery side of the starter solenoid. If you have another leg on the alt. stator without a diode, this will be AC Outputleg to run Headlights only.
