There is only one fix and you may stil have to replace the block. Briggs & Stratton repair manual says to center the seat by making three impressions with a pointed punch, then to follow up around the entire 360 degree radius of the seat with a flat punch to press over the aluminum around the seat. This will only work if there is limited clearance around the seat. After reseating the seat into position, you will have to reface the seat and the valve and cut you lash to the proper clearance.
