I have a 11 hp craftsman with a briggs and stratton engine, the exhaust valve seat is receding into the engine block. It's actually curling the metal of the block as it goes. I've had to grind the valve periodically to keep compression. My question is, is there anyway to fix this problem (i.e. weld and grind) or am I going to have to replace the block eventually?
