I found additional info - a manual for the 18423 deck at http://www.camosun.bc.ca/~colesr/bolens/ . Some of my parts are similar to the ones shown in the diagram in this manual:
Same parts: # 24, 97, 98, 93, 94, 41, 42 36, & 39
I do NOT have # 38, 91, 95
If this helps anyone identify my deck please let me know. Thanks a lot!
