No CAPS here but yes WH still uses the angle iron frame on the newer Classic Series as they have done for over 50 years, I have 8 of them, the newest being 21 years old and the oldest 45 years old. Have a 1979 FEL on a 1979 tractor and it is as reliable as any new tractor. I have no problems with the frame. I can show you neighbors that buy the dept. store brands and they get a new mower every 2-3 years and put the old one out in the front yard for sale. It is a matter of taste, maintenance habits, and mechanical skills. The older JD's, Cubs, and other collectable brands are made well...jmoyho.
