Simplist thing to do at this point is to set the new pump in position and reconnect everything. However, we are all inquisitive and want to fix what we can so... The circlip holds the oil seal in place so at this point you can just put a new seal on and reinstall the pump. If you want to look at the pump innards remove the end case retaining bolts and cover. Before removing anything note the position of the bushings and gears so you get it back together properly. Push the drive gear towards the end cover and remove the first bushings as a pair. Remove the drive gear and driven gear and the second set of bushings. There are four o-rings of same dia and a large ring at the end cover. Take a look at the long shaft where the oil seal sat and see if there isn't a groove cut into it. If so, a new seal won't do any good...go directly to a new pump. Would be nice (cheaper) if a new gear shaft was available, but it isn't. Reassemble in reverse order. Be careful not to pinch the large o-ring and also align the drain holes in the end cover and casing. Torque end cover bolts to 21 to 25 ftlbs. When all is back together pour a little trans oil in top of pump before you secure the top input tube. Most of it will drain out the bottom of the pump to the delivery tube, but enough will remain to prime it.

Sounds harder than it is. Good luck.
