Mine is 10 years old(an L35) and runs cool all day long even when working the loader. Any tractor can have an overheating problem just like a car or truck engine can have an overheating problem. When you use engines something can go wrong and it is usually not the operators fault.
You probably have had an experience with a car engine that has overheated-- doesn't mean all of that brand are bad-something just went wrong.
Sorry for your troubles. I know it is irritating and expensive.
I also have a Ford 1900 tractor with loader. It is 35 years old and no major problems.
