Never did that, nor would I ever do that! I would not do that to any vehicle I own and I own several cars, a truck, and motorcycle. I blow clean the radiator and radiator screen, as well as the mower deck with my power lawn blower. Anytime I've washed my tractor, it is with the hood closed and after the engine has cooled. I have never allowed water inside the engine compartment.
I know every responded to this posting is going to cast me as an idiot, however, I've gone to great lengths to care for this tractor because I laid down a lot of money for it. I store it in a nice garage completely shielded from the elements.
Kubota did not honor the warranty or stand by me in anyway. The blame has been put on me and I paid the repair bill. I will continue to use my Kubota indefinitely, but one thing is resoundingly clear -- they lost me as a lifetime customer! This is my last Kubota. They will not stand by me, and I will return the favor by not standing by Kubota!
For all of you guys that are happy with your Kubotas, congratulations! I only wish I could have had the same experience. Unfortunately, I got a bad one!
