In Reply to: WARNING -- DON'T BUY A KUBOTA posted by Tom on Saturday, March 20, 2010:
No matter what brand equipment you purchase,
there will be one every now and then that will
cause a problem. My Kubota is a 2002 I purchased
new, never had a problem of any kind. I know
having a problem does make you feel the way you
feel. If you were to get another and had a good
experience with it then your thinking would be
about face. I've owned several different brands
and had good luck with all except a Ford. The
only thing I dislike about a Kubota is, they are
a little light footed, need more weight. Mine is
a gear drive and I find the two reverse gears are
geared a little high, that is the extent of
my kubota problems, NONE.
All my tractors have been purchased new except
the Ford. Could be someone didn't take care of it, or just didn't know how, and thought they
knew how.
