Kubotas should come with neon flashing warning labels -- WARNING WARNING WARNING -- EASILY OVERHEATS AND EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE TO REPAIR !!!

I've owned my BX2230 for for just under 36 mos. I clean it after every use, which includes taking my power yard blower and blowing out the radiator and radiator screen. I learn my lesson very early after my radiator clogged and overheated just months after my purchase. Two years later, my engine head ($995) had to be replaced due to a crack resulting from, you guessed it, overheating!!! My dealer admitted openly that he only cleans his Kubota four (4) times a season -- I clean my Kubota after every use !!! On page 40 of my Owners Manual, it discusses in the bottom right corner of the page, "IMPORTANT" "Panel and radiator screen must be clean from debris to prevent engine from overheating and to allow good air intake for air cleaner." This entire statement should be in 36 font, red ink, to where it is impossible to miss, perhaps on the cover of the Owners Manual! My mechanic repremanded me by saying "you have to be very careful as these Kubotas only have single coil radiators." This is crazy considering this thing is built to do work! However, the message I'm getting out of this, Kubotas are fragile and easily overheated.

The blame was squarely put on me and I had to cough up nearly $1700 to re-gain custody of my Kubota. Never again. There will be no more Kubotas in my life!

Again, WARNING -- DON'T BUY A KUBOTA!
