I have the same problem on my 2001 L3410. I will come on and go off constantly while it is running, you can tell it has a load on the generator when it comes on too, it will drag the engine down a tad. Sometimes the light will not go off initially, but the tractor fires right up. I have heard a buzzing sound when I first turn the key on, does it for a second or two and stops. Is this a bad relay or solenoid for the glow plugs, how does this work on these tractors?
