Kubotas are considerably cheaper than John Deeres for the same tractor, but John Deere tractors have a much better dealership network, geared to the professional who can't tolerate down time. Thus, Kubotas are generally purchased by weekend farmers or the 5 acre subdivision crowd, who have limited use for a tractor. It's unusual if they put 500 hours on a machine in 5 years. When they move, they often just broker the tractor back to the Kubota dealer for what they can get. Most of them are small utility tractors.
In the HP range you are looking at, operator comfort and fuel consumption should be comparable, but the guidance system could be a problem. See if you can find a dealer who knows how to install and service satellite control systems. If you are a farmer, you should buy a dealer, not a brand.
