I have an M8540 with 270 hours on it that I purchased 15 months ago. When I start the tractor and start to move I hear a groaning noise for a few seconds or a few feet then the noise stops or when I stop forward motion of the tractor the noise stops. If you continue to move again, no noise. Usually I only hear this noise when tractor is started first thing in the day.
