I have a new Kubota B3030 with the Hydro Static Transmission. Great tractor and I really like it but no matter how easy I depress the forward and reverse directional pedal, it will start out smoothly and then suddenly lurch or jerk into a faster acceleration without the pedal being depressed more. This conditon is worse in the fast speed mode than in the two slower modes. Also when I'm mowing with it, it seems to "free wheel" for a brief moment and then lurch and speed up to a slightly faster speed than it was going before it freewheeled. My dealer checked with a factory representitive and he said the lurching was normal on this model and transmission combo. The directional linkage operates free and smooth and is not binding. It seems like a hydrualic control valve is suddenly opening. Has anymore else experienced the same or similiar problem and were you able to correct this problem. It is definitely not operating smoothly like my B2100. Thanks in advance, Gary Sutphin.
