I picked up a T1460 the other day that had been left outside and neglected for two years or so. The unit has not been used very much by the look of the original blades and the lack of dents and scratches. Fuel was left in the tank, I know how to take care of this issue & fuel system. My problem is that I cannot get the engine to turn over, no clicks, buzz or chatter from the starter or solenoid. I put a new hot battery in but still will not turn over. I took the top off and turned the motor over by hand and took a look inside the cylinder, nothing unusual noted, so the motor is not froze up. The deck had been removed by the previous owner who had no idea of how to remove the deck, he ended up cutting the blade break cable into with a hacksaw. Any suggestions on what to check on the engine to get it to turn over. The headlights do work so that part of the circuit is ok. Any help appreciated.
