No need to buy a $150 spool. Raise the bed full up. There is a 10mm plug located looking straight down under the dump body lower mount but in front of the oil tank on top of the filter housing. Pull it out, it is tight and difficult to get to. Use a magnet to pull the spring out and then use it to pull out the factory spool. Protect with a rag and clamp in a vise lightly, loosen the setscrew. Back the screw out 2 turns and relock the set screw. Reassemble and you will have little to no engine braking. I performed this on mine and it took less than 10 minutes, works great and costs nothing. It also shift better. I have 5 of these RTVs at work and they all jerk to a stop. I have no idea why Kubota things theis is a good thing.
