I am at a loss on how to procede without a maintenence manual, and you may quite likely have to split tractor to complete repair. Too bad the seller did not disclose this. But if you are up to it, it can be done. Metal in case, if it has not gotten into other gears you should be fine, just clean hydraulic filters and clean/flush out with same oil as you would normally use in the transmission.
