IT'S FIXED!!! Fixed it yesterday. I ended up taking the fuel tank off since I found that only 4 bolts held it on. I cleaned off the outside so some light would shine through and then dropped a tiny security camera in there to verify if there was a screen or not on the output tube. There isn't one. The tank was quite clean, Very little trash. I focused the camera on the end of the tube in the tank so my wife and mother-in-law could watch and blew it out with the compressor. They said a big blobb blew out. I washed that and everything else down to where I could get it out. As you mentioned the blobb DID have the same feel and texture of algie or moss. Getting the tank back on was a real pain. It is plastic and evidently has warped a little so the two rear bolt holes no longert match. Took 3 of us (me, my wife, and mo-in-law) to get the last bold in. Took the gas line loose at the engine and turned key to on, did that a second time and the lines were bled.. My wife ran it for about 3 hours yesterday and mo-in-law ran it a lot today... Runs like a top!!! THANKS!!! Don
