Watch out for a plugged fuel cap vent, and too
much air may blow a seal on the fuel gauge
sending unit. When I did the air thing I removed
the cap and put some shop towels over the fuel
cap area to stop the fuel from blowing all over.
If the cap is on you may swell the tank and
cause leaks at the seams.
