My father-in-law has a 1973 D225 or 2250. We hooked up the roto-tiller and busted up some hard ground. When we went to pull the roto-tiller back off, the head of the shaft seems to be jammed too far on to the spline coming out of the rear PTO. As if you stuck a cork too far into a wine bottle.
Now it won't come off. Any ideas on how t get it off? I'm thinking a come-along and a chain, but don't want to hurt anything.
Any suggestions are welcome.
