I have a late 70's L185DT that had the key switch get stuck a few years ago in the ON position - so I simply used a cut-off switch at the battery to stop the battery from draining. Finally got the switch working - but the battery still dies, even a new on with lots of CCA. There seems to be some kind of solenoid in the dash that clicks on whenever the battery is connected.
Does anyone know if this is normal or is this my killer - and if so - what is it?
Thanks for any input!
