Not sure of the L3010, I have a L3000 gear drive. The tranny filter on it, has a plate to
remove, two bolts, then you see the little round
silver filter tube, You insert a wooden dowel
into the hole, kink the dowel side ways and
pull the filter screen out. If your's is like
mine, you can rotate the filter screen but it
wont come out untill it's pulled, no threads.
