I am trying to get the transmission filter off of my L3010. I can get the filter to rotate, but does not unthread. I also noticed what appears to be a nut with square slots cut into it towards the end of the filter adjacent to the trans. Is this part of the filter to be removed? My new Kubota replacement Filter does not have this piece, and I do not want to destroy it trying to remove it. This is the original filter from the factory
