Thanks, Leon - will check it out. Chances are you're right. The stump was huge, and I never should have attacked it with a 30hp tractor and an 800-lb loader. Testimonial for Kubota, though - the loader snapped the tap root, and the stump took three days to burn, but like Ron White says, "Ya can't fix stupid."
