I bought this F2000 used 2 weeks ago. Worked great until...
I can only run now in 2 WDR. The 4WDR shaft pin fell out of the u-joint nearest the back wheels, the shaft fell out, and the u-joint nearest the back of the transmission folded, hit the frame, and broke at the shaft going into the back of the transmission. Until I get my manuals, can you tell me how expensive the parts are and how complicated the repair process is. Since the shaft is splined going into the u-joint, I'm hoping it is splined in the transmission and would not be too difficult to repair. Do I need to remove the cover where the shaft goes into the back of the tranny? Is this a back-yard repair or do I need to call the Kubota dealer?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Doug
