Hey there:
I just bought a B6000. some news I have found out concerning the B6000:
the PTO does indeed go in reverse. there are a few parts houses that may have them still, either take outs from old equipment, or some left on shelves.
the mower decks are customizable, and you should be able to get a competent shop to make a new one fit.
the PTO spline is not just rotating in the opposite direction, it also has a smaller spline (less teeth) so you can get adapters to fit (with much digging), but the reverser is the trick, it does both jobs at once.
the reversers are hard to find, if i can dig up the place, ill post the name.
