Make sure that the control for the lower lifter arms isn't in the fully up position. (These arms attach to my mower deck to raise and lower it) If it is in the fully up position the hydraulics shut down on my BX22. I don't know your specific model, but it drove me crazy for an hour or two once until I figured it out.
