Likewise, I have just purchased a used L235. I was bushhogging the back field before it got too high. The tractor stalled and won't start. When I turn the key, nothing happens, no glow lights, no starter noise etc. Funny thing is that it had started up easily just before I began. My battery appears dead. I charged it. I tried another new battery while battery 1 was charging. again no lights, no noise. All the wiring seems tight etc. Can you suggest next step? (possible loose wire on switch, or switch gone bad?) Thanks for your help.
